History pages

Check out the new history pages on the website. This is an ongoing project which will be updated throughout the summer to give you all an insight on the past history of the league. If anyone can help with any missing teams/years or mistakes please contact terry.gosney@btinternet.com , especially any information about league winners from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s as the skittle fixture books only started putting in the previous seasons tables from 1980.

AGM

The AGM took place on Friday 15th June at the Colliton Club.

The main rule changes that were voted on and passed were,
1. League fees and signing on forms are now due in by the end of September instead of October.
2. In the Ladies League up to two missing players will now be given a score of 30 instead of last seasons 35.
3. In the Ladies Pairs Competition teams will now be able to enter five pairs instead of four.

All League Officers and the committee were voted back on.

We lost one team out of the Open League (Greenstars), and gained one new team for the Ladies League (The Easy Beats).

The composition for the forthcoming season sees 14 teams in Sections A & B, and 13 teams in Section C, D and the Ladies League.
