Top score in the Open League was Jon Arnold of Swan Abbots with 76 at the Bulls Head. The highest team score was 476 by Essentials at the Spitfire Club, Crossways. The highest hand was 80 by Hartstoppers at the Royal Oak, Rere Regis. The highest stick up was 18 by 3 players, Mark Cope of Tom Browns Bullocks at Tom Browns, Jordan Smith of Royal Oak Country Boys at the Royal Oak Bere Regis and S Coward of Jokers at the Victoria Hotel.

The highest team score and hand were hit by the same team at the Bulls Head, Half Pints hit 488 and finished the match with a hand of 82. The highest stick up was 18 hit by three players, Terry Durrant of Hammers on alley one at the Trinity Club, the other two were both from Section B, Rodney Smith of Royal Oak Country Boys at the Bulls Head and Robbie Haime of Colliton Chimps on alley two at the Colliton Club.

Top score in the Open League were Jordan Smith and kelvin Selby of Royal Oak Country Boys with 75 at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis. The Country Boys hit both the highest team score of the season and the highest hand of the season so far, the team score was 506, while on the third hand they hit 89. The highest stick up of the week was 18 hit by two players in the same match at the New Inn, West Knighton, Joe McHale of Vic Reeves and Nick Wrixon of Tom Browns Bullocks.

Skittlers of the week – Open Knockout Cup 1st Round

Top scores in the Open Knockout Cup 1st round were Rodney Smith of Royal Oak Country Boys at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis, Matt Downton of Wareham Legionaires at the Swan Inn, Abbotsbury and Jason Hallett of Colliton Wide Boys on alley two at the Colliton Club all with 73. The highest team score was 466 by Royal Oak Country Boys as the Section B team beat Hammers of Section A by 41-pins at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis. Country Boys also notched the highest hand of the week finishing the game with 76. Other notable wins came from Plodders of Section D who beat Brewers Bees of Section B by 7-pins, while in the all ladies clash at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis the visitors Crackerjacs hit an impressive 445 to beat Oakettes by 29-pins. The highest stick up was 18 by Mike Azzaro of Essentials at the Spitfire Club.
