Skittlers of the week – Open League w/c 2 March

Top score in the Open League was Luke Short of Barmy Army with 74 at the Three Compasses, Charminster. The highest team score was 478 hit by Swankers at the Bulls Head, with 16 year old Fabian Fox hitting 73, and the Section B outfit also hit the highest hand of the week with 85. The highest stick up was 18 hit by two players, Mike Bolton of Royal Oak Wanderers on alley one at the Trinity Club and Jack Gillham of Swankers at the Bulls Head.

Skittlers of the week – Ladies League w/c 2 March

Top score in the Ladies League was Jen Sims of Oakettes with 70 at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis. Oakettes team score of 439 equalled their previous best score from January which is the highest team score in the Ladies League this season. The Bere Regis outfit also hit the highest hand of the week with 78. The highest stick up was 18 hit by Jen Sims, it’s only the second 18 hit in the Ladies League this season.

Skittlers of the week – Open League w/c 24 Feb

Top score in the Open League was James Roe of Skimmers with 79 at the Bulls Head. The highest team score was 481 by Skimmers at he Bulls Head, and the Section A joint leaders also hit the highest hand of the week with 82 which was 1-pin more than the Section B leaders Heathens who started their match at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis with 81. The highest stick up was 18 hit by five players, Adrian Patterson of Hartstoppers on alley two at the Trinity Club, Chris Elliott of Untouchables at the Goldies, Charlie Clarke and Owen Etherington both of Unpredictable Strimmers at the Bulls Head, Jon Arnold of Swan Abbots at the Old Ship Inn, Upwey.

Skittlers of the week – Ladies League w/c 24 Feb

Top score in the Ladies League was Jen Sims of Oakettes with 61 on alley two at the Trinity Club. The highest team score was 378 by Trinity Mix Ups at the Spitfire Club. The highest hand was 60 by two teams Devils at Dorchester Town Football Club and Oakettes on alley two at the Trinity Club. The highest stick up was 15 by three players, Kelly Godden of Breezers on alley one at the Trinity Club, the other two came in the same match on alley two at the Trinity Club by Natasha Rolls of Vixens and Jen Sims of Oakettes.

Top score in the Open League was Andy Sharpe of Unpredictable Strimmers with 74 on alley one at the Trinity Club. The highest team score was 461 by Skimmers at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis. The highest hand was 76 by two teams, Alcotops at Dorchester Town Football Club and Puddletown Nomads at Goldies. The highest stick up was 18 by three players, Nick Heal of Half Pints at the Bulls Head, Nigel Skidmore of Hotshots on alley two the Colliton Club and Andy Sharpe of Unpredictable Strimmers.

Skittlers of the week – Open League w/c 10 Feb

Top scores in the Open League were Matt Bennett of Essentials at the Spitfire Club, Crossways and Mark Slade of Half Pints at Tom Browns with 73. The highest team score was 486 by Essentials, and it was the joint Section A leaders that also notched the highest hand of the week with 82 at the Spitfire Club, Crossways. Both their totals were one better than Breakaways who sit on equal points with Essentials at the top of Section A, the Wool outfit hit 485 and had a hand of 81 at the Wool Legion. The highest stick up was 18 by three players Adam Woollard of Patriots at the Wool Legion, Tony Hewitt of Brewers Bees on alley two at the Trinity Club and Kevin Dredge of Plodders at the Goldies.

Skittlers of the week – Open League w/c 3 Feb

Top score in the Open League was David Moors of Colliton Chimps with 78 on alley two at the Colliton Club. The highest team score was 492 by Half Pints at the Bulls Head, and the Bulls Head outfit finished the match against Barmy Army with a 91 hand which is the highest of the season from any team to win the match by 11-pins, the last hand of 91 included a 22-stick up from Mark Slade which is the highest in the league this season.
