Top score in Section A was Luke Short of Barmy Army with 65 at the Three Compasses, Charminster.

Top score in Section B was Jordan Smith of Country Boys with 72 at the Royal Oak, Bere Regis.

Top scores in Section C were Adrian Coward of Jokers and Pete Spicer of Alcotops both with 70 on alley one at the Colliton Club.

Top scores in Section D were Richard Goodbody and Oliver Hurlstone both of New Inn Chuckers with 66 at the New Inn, West Knighton.

Top score in the Ladies League was C Chandler of Woodpeckers with 58 at Goldies.

Skittlers of the week – Open Knockout Cup w/c 16 Oct

Top score in the Knockout Cup 1st round was Christopher Elliott of Untouchables with 68 at the Bladen Social Club, Briantspuddle.

There were two notable wins where teams from a lower section beat higher opposition.

Magpie Imps of Section B beat Colliton Imps of Section A by 1-pin on alley one at the Colliton Club. Needing 82 to win the Magpies had stick ups from Daniel Roberston (13) and Liam Gosney (14), before Ryan Welch throwing at No.7 hit 17 to leave skipper Kieran Knight 6 to win the tie.

At the Goldies on Thursday host Strugglers from Section D beat Dewlish Monsters of Section B by 31-pins. The Goldies outfit won five of the seven hands, their best a 67 with stick ups from T Hadgett (14) and anchor man John Cooper (13).
